NABA – Minneapolis/St. Paul
----------------------------------
As a local chapter of a national not-for-profit organization, the Minneapolis / St Paul Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) has been in existence since the 1980s with the goal of serving minorities in or planning to enter the areas of accounting, finance, information technology, and other business related fields. Over the last 20+ years, our organization has strived to provide avenues through which our members can develop their technical and "soft" skills, give back to the community by volunteering their time or talents, and determine ways to remain relevant in light of our ever-changing community.

In addition to our member focus, we have also managed to build relationships with corporations, universities, high schools, and other community organizations. Recognizing that these relationships are a critical success factors for our organization, we provide our partners with an opportunity to network with our members (students and professionals), participate in planning sessions for ongoing or future programs, facilitate personal development workshops, and highlight opportunities in their respective areas.

While our membership focus and partnerships have driven many of our past successes, we goal of achieving greater successes and positively impacting our communities. We cannot achieve this success without the support of each and everyone you as individuals, community, or corporate representatives.

We hope that you see the value in our organization and take the first step to invest in our organization while continuing to grow wherever you may find yourself. This can be accomplished by inquiring about ways to become engaged with our organization, signing up as an official member, and sharing your thoughts while participating in the execution of our various programs.

Join us in our journey towards making a difference and let us all "lift as we climb" through our thoughts, words and deeds.

We look forward to connecting with you soon.

Nana Ahwoi
President
